Our Scholarship Fund Coffee from Jittery Joe's (whole bean med-dark roast)
This one is close to my heart.
100% of the profits from the sale of this coffee go towards providing field trips for underfunded schools, studio membership scholarships for those going through a rough patch or who just need some assistance, funding summer camps and classes for anyone who needs it and for anyone who asks.
Everyone needs art. Period. Full stop. Not everyone has access and not everyone has the resources. We want to make sure that everyone can come to our pottery studio to create and we’ve yet to turn away a school, a group, a child, a person who just needed the art therapy. Even when no one buys the coffee we’re committed to this project.
The coffee is called “Espress Yourself” not because it’s an espresso, but because, much to Rob’s chagrin, I have horrible dad humor. It is a medium-dark whole bean roast, blended from beans from Chiapas and Guatemala . It is a delicious coffee, but more than that, it actually does good in the world. Your morning cup could help another person when times are tough.
If you live where there is a Jittery Joe’s, they will grind the coffee for you for free.
